Thanks to all the volunteers that helped 3 homeless families in January. These volunteers drove, made meals, offered evening hospitality, did laundry, set up beds, provided groceries and stayed overnight to provide shelter for 5 adults and 2 children.

When I was tired you gave me a bed to sleep on...
When I was lonely you gave me comfort...
When I was hungry you gave me food..The IHN program is dedicated to helping homeless families stay intact during times of crisis. In operation at our parish for 5 years, IHN helps to make families self-sufficient. In the 5 or 6 weeks per year that St. Benedict hosts families, 20 to 25 families are aided by more than 100 volunteers from the Parish. Call Mary Spinabelli 724.942.2478.
