Guidelines for Borrowing
Tables and Chairs
All usage for these facilities, including tables and chairs, is prioritized based on their means to bring people closer to Christ. As all of these resources were provided by the generous donations of parishioners, we have an obligation to be good stewards of parish property. In order to do this, the following guidelines are in existence for the use of tables and chairs:
- Tables and chairs may only be loaned out to parishioners.
- There is a $50 deposit due when the furniture is reserved. By your willingness to pay this, you demonstrate your appreciation for the borrowing privilege. This donation will be refunded to you when the furniture is returned in good condition and stacked neatly.
- The round tables and the red aluminum chairs are not to be removed from this church!
- Chairs and tables must be picked up/returned between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
- Please return the tables and chairs to the exact location from where you found them - either the storage room in O’Brien Hall, Activities Center or the classrooms in Abbey Hall.
- We do not operate a “borrowing service”, so therefore we do not have anyone on staff who can load and unload tables. Please bring enough help to accomplish this on your own!
- Out of consideration for other staff and committee members who use the storage rooms, please stack the furniture neatly upon return.
- Please come into the office to request tables and chairs.
- You must check into the office before picking up chairs and tables and pay your deposit.
